Dear Garden City Middle School Community,

I am excited to introduce myself as the new interim principal of Garden City Middle School.  With years of experience in education—including over twenty years of leadership roles in Mineola and Syosset - I am deeply committed to fostering academic excellence, supporting student growth, and building strong partnerships with families and staff.

Throughout my career, I have worked alongside dedicated educators to create safe, inclusive, and high-achieving learning environments where students are both challenged and supported. I believe in setting high expectations, celebrating progress, and ensuring that every student is seen, heard, and inspired to reach their full potential. Middle school is a pivotal time in a young person’s development, and I am passionate about guiding students through these years with care, structure, and opportunity.

I look forward to getting to know each of you and working together to continue the strong tradition of success at Garden City Middle School. On Tuesday, August 26, we will be hosting a “Walk-through” for the incoming 6th graders from 9:30 to 11:30. I hope to meet you in person, and I welcome your insights, hopes, and ideas for our school community.
